Great Wood Eco Lodges – York

Important -Toilet waste

We have a septic tank which has special requirements. Please do not put tampons, sanitary towels, cotton wool, cotton buds or any similar item down the toilet! If in doubt please use the bin provided. We use eco friendly products to clean the toilets as bleach can upset the system.

Smoking

Strictly no smoking in the lodges anyone found smoking in the lodges will be asked to leave.

We do not however mind is you smoke outside whilst sat on the veranda – but please keep the lodge doors and windows closed at the time so that the smoke does not go inside the lodge. Please remember the fire risk they pose in the woodland and be careful how you dispose of your cigarette ends.
